In June 1990, CCC USA Diversity Search was founded by Ron Lee McDuffey and Craig Woods. CCC USA was formed in conjunction with California Career Connection, now known as Corporate Search. CCC USA was a great success, and was recognized in the LA Times as one of the fastest growing businesses in LA County.
Despite the huge successes, the partnership ended in January of 1994 due to a massive earthquake centered around Northridge, CA. McDuffey had managed to come up with the necessary capital to rebuild the company, and keep it thriving.
McDuffey, exemplifying expertise in the field of Diversity Recruiting, was recognized in Black Enterprise magazine, June 1996. His article, titled PowerPlay, covered all aspects of recruiting from a candidates perspective. Powerplay detailed everything from asking questions of employers, to detailing your successes to give you a strategic advantage in an interview.
Most recently, Lee decided to change the brand name of his company from CCC USA Diversity Search, to McDuffey and Associates Diversity Search. McDuffey and Associates still provides the same level of expertise, however the brand now provides a more diverse service mix, including: diversity consulting, employee retention, diversity solutions, training and development, and workforce balancing, amongst others.
